In case you missed it, the Délégation aux droits des femmes of the French Senate has just published its report on masculinist movements, structured around 24 key recommendations.
For those wondering why, in 2026, we are still producing reports and recommendations when the threat is already clear: a parliamentary report remains a crucial tool to put an issue on the political agenda, especially when it is not yet at the top of the government’s or legislators’ priority list.
With this publication, both chambers can now fully enter the advocacy arena, build cross‑party support, and push for these recommendations to be translated into concrete legislation against masculinist movements. It also provides a basis for French MEPs to advocate at EU level for amendments to the Digital Services Act and stronger protections for minors online.
Side note: what struck me most is that around 70% of the associations working on these issues are facing serious financial difficulties – a stark reminder that the front line of this fight is dramatically under‑resourced.
