Who we are

OUR NAME

A rocky hill west of the Acropolis. From 5th century BC, Athenian citizens climbed it to debate war, trade, and law, under the Isegoria principle.

It is the first place in recorded history where a case had to be argued in public, before it could become policy.

507 BC

Cleisthenes’ reforms hand political power to the citizenry

6,000

Citizens required for a quorum of the assembly

Isegoria

The equal right of every citizen to speak on policy

Our background

More than 20 years developing lobbying, positioning and influence strategies for international groups, trade associations, and national bodies across EMEA and the EU.

Issues handled include GMO/GMM, food enzymes, processing aids, sweeteners, food additives, REACH, CSR, and sustainability — arenas where science, regulation, and public opinion collide.

A second career in video game journalism for some of Europe’s most demanding outlets gives us a rare command of an industry now facing its own wave of regulation and scrutiny.

ABOUT JESSICA

Jessica leads every Pnyx mandate personally — there is no account handoff, no junior team running point while she signs off from a distance. Clients get direct access to the person who did the analysis, wrote the strategy, and will be in the room when it matters.

Jessica works fluently across English and French, with a good working level of German and Spanish, conversational Japanese, and working notions of Italian, Korean, Chinese, and Thai — a range she puts to direct use when a mandate crosses borders, languages, or negotiating cultures.

It’s this range, as much as the track record already outlined above, that makes Pnyx genuinely global-ready: strategies built to hold up in front of several audiences at once, not just the one in the room.

OUR VALUES

We do not offer cookie-cutter solutions.

Every mission is tailored to the issue, the audience, and the context.

We work under NDA and stay focused on what is practical, useful, and effective.
