OUR NAME
The Pnyx, Athens (πνύξ)
A rocky hill west of the Acropolis. From 5th century BC, Athenian citizens climbed it to debate war, trade, and law, under the Isegoria principle.
It is the first place in recorded history where a case had to be argued in public, before it could become policy.
507 BC
Cleisthenes’ reforms hand political power to the citizenry
6,000
Citizens required for a quorum of the assembly
Isegoria
The equal right of every citizen to speak on policy
Our background
Two decades in contested regulatory arenas — and inside the video games industry.
More than 20 years developing lobbying and communication strategies for international groups, trade associations, and national bodies across EMEA and the EU.
Issues handled include GMO/GMM, food enzymes, processing aids, sweeteners, food additives, REACH, CSR, and sustainability — arenas where science, regulation, and public opinion collide.
A second career in video game journalism for some of Europe’s most demanding outlets gives us a rare command of an industry now facing its own wave of regulation and scrutiny.
